She also wrote to me some facts about Florida :)
- Florida is not the southern most state, Hawaii is far the south
- There are 1,197miles of coastline in the state
- The state Flower is Orange Blossom
- The highest point in Florida is 345 feet
- The state Bird is the mockingbird
- Punta Gorda is 167 miles northwest of St Augustine (which is the oldest city & oldest port in the US and one of the prettiest too)
- 133 miles from Orlando (where Mickey Mouse lives)
- 330 miles south of Tallahassee (State Capital)
