Pictorial Map of Japan

Thank you to Norie Saito willing to swap with me this wonderful Map Postcard.

Norie live in Yokohama city which near to Tokyo.

(Dec 2008) I never been to Japan, the main reason is because of it's cost.

But, I wish one day I could afford to do so with my family.

(Mar 2018) Yay, my wish fulfilled ~ Shirakawa-go (Takayama) and Kyoto. 

Map of Old Tokyo

I received this Map of Old Tokyo postcard from Terue. 

She told me that the old map was made in 1849. The central empty part is Castle, Edo-jo where a shogun (General) lived in those days. It is the Imperial place now.
